I completed my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May of 2021. I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I applied for and was granted my initial Conditional Clinical Professional Counselor license (LCPC-C) to practice in Maine. My supervisor is Tom Kubasik of getme.org, who I studied under during a year long internship.
I trained in Emotion Focused Therapy which combines Person-Centered and Gestalt therapy with a strong research evidence base to confirm its effectiveness.
I belong to the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and Association for Spiritual Integrity to support my professional interest in both spiritual and mental health integration and spiritual teacher abuses. I also belong to the American Counseling Association which has published one of my articles on the Hearing Voices Network that is archived here: https://ctarchive.counseling.org/2020/03/hearing-voices-a-human-rights-movement-and-developmental-approach-to-voice-hearing/
I offer services to adult individuals and couples in Maine.
